The Mohicans in Glenmont, OH
I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot at the Mohicans Tree Houses in Glenmont, OH. I gathered a handful of families together for a long day of shooting.
It was my first experience in the tree houses as well as these portions of the grounds at the Mohicans. Wow is all I can say. The foliage had yet to fully develop, but the landscape and photo opportunities this place offers is immense.
This was my second photoshoot in this style. Awkward is a good word for both me and the client. It’s weird to just sit and smile, and I really wanted to capture the essence of the subjects as best I could. Most were very easy to work with as we walked around and checked out the wonders keeping lighthearted, fun conversation. Only a couple of the youngest subjects were any issue at all, and I was able to work around that.
Practice makes perfect, so this was definitely a learning experience, and yielded way better of a product that I thought I would get from my Canon Rebel T6.
