It’s been a couple of years since I crossed paths with these two. Last time we were in the same place I recorded their live album that was released a year ago. Tonight I got a physical copy of that CD – signed.
With no extra lighting at the River Room Lounge, it can cause some issues shooting without flash. I decided to shoot with a higher noise ISO setting, and the results were mixed. I really do like the classic 70’s look of some of the black and white photos, but some were just too grainy for my liking. It is good to practice this so I know real world results.
Maybe we’ll cross paths again soon and do some session work to get them some good promotional photos and maybe a video that really showcases Gayle’s unique kit.
