Finally. It was my third attempt to cover The Rev. A bucket list act of mine skirted me last time as their gig in Columbus was canceled as they were performing in Sturgis instead. No hard feelings, I just kept my eyes on their upcoming tour. Not only did I score a show, but I was able to cover the Horton’s Holiday Hayride.
It was a little odd when in post-production that the Rev’s guitar which is bright red turned out orange. This seemed to be a theme with most images I saw online. Due to the heavy blue lights that were overhead, to remove the harsh purple, I decided to approach the look being a little unsaturated retro look.
