As Mushroomhead was wainting to take the stage there was a lengthy gap, as they were doing their VIP. The crowd got tighter and tighter as time went by.
Once Mushroomhead hit the stage the entire crowd was in a frenzy. With no photo pit, I was shooting from about center stage, right in the middle of the madness. Thanks to the patrons that were around me, and knew what I was there for, they kept me from taking any direct mosh hits, but as the water splashed from the water drums, and the crowd moshing, I was just snapping away. It was actually a blast, and I got some cool photos too. I left the pit after two songs and shot some perimeter stuff.
The cool thing were the one use masks that they auctioned off afterwards.
