Out at 5:30 am to line up, we had our pick of front row spots. As people showed up even up to 8 and 9, they tried to shimmy their way to the front. It wasn’t happening, but I only had to have words with one dude – he got the point really quick.
Not really intended for any coverage, and I had only covered one concert to this point, and no parades, so I really learned it is near impossible to shoot great shots from a crowd this size and packed in, even if you are in the front row.
